The ruler of Dubai was pictured enjoying lunch at the DIFC hotspot
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai is regularly seen out and about, whether it’s chairing government meetings, visiting progress on new megaprojects, or dining in the city’s incredible restaurants.
And for his most recent outing, Sheikh Mohammed has been spotted enjoying lunch at Zuma, the long-standing, multi-award-winning Japanese hotspot in DIFC.
The restaurant’s official Instagram account shared a series of videos and photos of the Dubai ruler on Wednesday April 15, where he greeted team members and enjoyed lunch with his entourage.
No stranger to Dubai’s restaurant scene, Sheikh Mohammed can often be seen visiting the city’s culinary community, and has previously been spotted at restaurants including Sexy Fish, the desert outpost of Parker’s, and several concepts at J1 Beach.
And it’s not just restaurants. Last week, Sheikh Mohammed surprised shoppers when he visited the newly opened Primark store at Dubai Mall. Videos of the visit quickly made the rounds on social media, with many praising his close interaction with the public and his hands-on leadership style.
The ruler of Dubai was also spotted this month in Dubai Hills Mall, passing stores including Jamie’s Italian and Géant, and happily posing for sweet snaps with children in the store.
