Palm Jebel Ali is on its way, but what’s actually going to be there?
You’ve heard of the Palm in Dubai, usually referring to Palm Jumeirah where you’ll find some icons like the Atlantis hotels, the monorail and a large collection of hotels, beach clubs, restaurants and of course some incredible villas that one could only dream of owning. Well, there’s a new kid/palm on the block coming to Dubai and it’s called Palm Jebel Ali and it’s being developed by Nakheel.

Where is it located?
It is positioned between Port Jebel Ali and Jebel Ali Marine Sanctuary. It’s 20 minutes from Al Maktoum International Airport.

How big is Palm Jebel Ali?
Stretching 13.4 kilometres and encompassing seven interconnected islands, Palm Jebel Ali includes 16 fronds and over 90 kilometres of beachfront.
What is there?
There’s 10,500,000 sqm of development with plans for several neighbourhoods of residential properties, over 80 hotels and resorts, entertainment venues and more. The amenities listed on the website include:

- Beach clubs

- Sunset beach promenade
- Family club beach
- Iconic tower with 360 degree views
- Sports and wellness club

Along with these amenities, there are lots of residential properties being developed that focus on coastal and beach living.

Recently it was announced that Nakheel awarded the contracts worth over Dhs3.5 billion to Ginco General Contracting L.L.C and United Engineering Construction (UNEC) for the construction of 544 villas.
