Abu Dhabi is getting its first McGettigan’s Fan Zone, plus a huge multi-concept venue for food, sport and entertainment
Reem Island is gearing up for something big, and if you like your weekends loud, this one is worth watching. Vision Hospitality has confirmed it will open a huge new dining and entertainment space on Al Reem Island, and this one is not playing small. The new 45,000 square foot dining and entertainment space at Reem Mall will bring food, live sport, music and social hangouts to one venue.
Leading the charge is McGettigan’s, which is setting up a flagship home in Abu Dhabi. First to open is the McGettigan’s Fan Zone, and it is built for proper match-day energy. Expect giant screens, packed crowds and every major game shown live, from football to rugby and everything in between.
If you have spent time at their Dubai venues, you already know the drill. It is high energy, a little chaotic in the best way, and exactly where you want to be when the stakes are high. This is the first phase. More concepts are still under wraps, but the plan is clear. This is bigger than just a restaurant opening. It is a full social hub that moves from daytime bites to late-night hangouts without missing a beat.
For Reem Mall, it adds a new layer to the experience. When you are popping in to shop you can stay for the game, meet friends, and make it a full day out.
