London favourite Isabel Mayfair opens at The Galleria, bringing Mediterranean plates, elegant interiors and a day to night dining experience

Abu Dhabi’s dining scene has a new name to know. Isabel Mayfair, the London restaurant and bar that has quietly built a loyal following over the past decade, opens at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island from April 20.

This is its first move outside the UK, and it lands with intent. The idea is simple. Good food, good company, and a space that carries you from a long lunch into a late night without missing a beat.

In the kitchen is French chef Vincent Visinet, who keeps things focused on seasonal ingredients and Mediterranean flavours. The menu reads clean and confident. Small plates like croquetas filled with onion and leek béchamel set the tone. Starters lean fresh, from a neatly layered vegetable tartlet to heirloom tomatoes lifted with a light consommé.

Mains bring a little drama. Carabineros arrive with a rich, reduced jus and bright hits of citrus, while a classic beef Wellington comes wrapped in golden pastry with all the right depth. Desserts are made to linger over. A red berry pavlova keeps things light, while a warm pistachio madeleine, oversized and built for sharing, feels like the table’s final moment.

The space dis designed by DBM Studio, it plays with texture and light, shifting mood as the day moves on. Think polished brass, deep blue velvet, marble and curved seating that pulls you in rather than pushes you out. It feels considered without trying too hard.

Behind the scenes, this is a partnership between BNF Hospitality and UAE-based Fuse Holding, bringing London experience together with local insight.

Isabel Mayfair arrives with a clear plan. A series of preview events will roll out before a bigger moment later in the year. For now, it settles in and starts doing what it does best. Feeding the room and giving people a place to stay a little longer than planned.
