His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, and Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Etihad Rail, recently visited the station to inspect the facilities. Joined by senior officials, they reviewed the passenger services and progress on sustainable development initiatives in Qidfa.
Connecting the Emirates

The first phase of Etihad Rail will link Abu Dhabi and Dubai, extending to Fujairah on the east coast. Route planning took population density, demand, and connectivity priorities into account, ensuring the network serves the areas that need it most.
