Emirates has nearly resumed all flights as 96% of its global network returns
Emirates is edging back to full strength, with 96% of its global network now restored following recent disruption — bringing the airline close to a near-complete resumption of its worldwide flight schedule.
The airline has progressively rebuilt its operations over the past weeks, reinstating services across key regions including the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East and GCC, as well as the Far East and Australasia.
Today, Emirates is operating to 137 destinations across 72 countries, supported by more than 1,300 weekly flights. That represents around 75% of pre-disruption capacity, with more services being added daily as the final phase of recovery continues.
Despite the disruption period, demand remained strong, with Emirates carrying 4.7 million passengers, underlining the continued reliance on the airline for connecting the world.
Emirates are constantly upgrading and the regional disruptions have not affected progress, recently they rolled out Starlink Wi-Fi across their fleet of both Boeing and Airbus planes, and the airline has also confirmed that they are working on en-suite bathrooms in first class.
Emirates president, Tim Clark, said that adaptation and innovation is crucial in the market and he plans to further upgrade the Emirates experience, as reported by The National.
“I’m working on en-suite bathrooms in first-class suites,” he said, speaking by video at the 2026 Capa Airline Leader Summit in Berlin on Thursday. “I want everyone to hear that so everyone rushes out the door to find out how they can get bathrooms in first-class suites.”
