Tuck into a traditional Emirati menu with a modern twist

Don’t forget, its Dubai Restaurant Week and there’s plenty of restaurants to try in Dubai, however, if you’re craving Emirati-inspired cuisine, Gerbou is the place to be. The restaurant is serving up a set lunch and dinner menu that’s big on flavour and rooted in regional classics. The Dhs125 lunch includes two courses, with dishes like feta and pistachio dip, lamb ragout, chicken machboos and vegetable salona on offer. Dinner, priced at Dhs250, is a more indulgent three-course affair featuring options such as kunafa prawns, meat arayes, chicken margooga and mixed grills. Desserts across both menus keep things traditional, with highlights including date cake, aseeda loaf and logaimat.
