Here’s what we know about the distance learning extension in the UAE
A reminder to not believe everything you read or see on social media. The Ministry of Education has denied the rumours circulating on social media about the distance learning extension for schools in the UAE. It was believed that distance learning would be extended until May 1, 2026 however the ministry has confirmed that no such decision has been issued.
The MOE has stated that all updates relating to academic calendar will be announced through its official and verified accounts only and that current schedules remain unchanged for now.
It was announced on March 30 that schools would remain online until April 17.
