The new daily service to Don Mueang International Airport adds a fresh gateway to Bangkok for Dubai-based travellers
Planning a summer getaway with the family? flydubai has announced the launch of daily flights to Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) from July 1, 2026 – just in time for summer.
The new route marks the airline’s second destination in Thailand, joining its existing service to Krabi. It opens up another gateway into one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant cities.
The flydubai flight will depart from Terminal 3 at Dubai International (DXB). The daily service strengthens connectivity between Dubai and the region and will give travellers more flexibility when planning their next escape.
The route will operate as a codeshare with Emirates, meaning seamless onwards connections through Dubai to a wide global network.
The expansion further reinforces flydubai’s role in connecting underserved markets and facilitating travel across its growing network.
In addition to its growing presence in Thailand, flydubai also continues to serve other popular destinations such as Langkawi and Penang in Malaysia.

As travel demand continues to recover, we remain confident in the resilience of the tourism sector. The new service allows us to deploy capacity where it is needed, while strengthening travel and trade flows between the UAE and key markets.”
Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, stated, “Bangkok remains a highly popular destination for leisure and business travellers alike.”
He added that the introduction of the new daily flight offers “greater flexibility and convenience, particularly during the peak summer travel period.” He expects strong demand and looks forward to increasing flight frequencies as traffic builds over the summer.
