The Ministry of Education has just announced the implementation of distance learning for UAE schools from Tuesday, May 5, 2026, until Friday, May 8, 2026. The notice applies for students, teachers, and administrative staff across nurseries and all public and private schools nationwide.
The Ministry added that the directive is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the educational community.
‘The situation will be reviewed on Friday, 8 May 2026, and the period may be extended if necessary’, the Ministry added.
