Shayma Al Mughairy’s installation draws on the golden sands that have shaped Jumeirah for generations. Gift of Time reflects the season’s spirit – connection, reflection, and community – while nodding to a time when the area was a simple seaside neighbourhood. It’s a modern tribute that anchors the Majlis experience in place, history, and culture.

Iftar at the Majlis

As the sun sets, the Majlis lights up. Thoughtfully designed to bring people together, the space features cosy interiors, an outdoor terrace overlooking the Arabian Sea, and live musical performances that set a soulful tone. Iftar begins with a generous buffet of Middle Eastern favourites, alongside live cooking stations and signature dishes from two of the resort’s celebrated restaurants, Netsu by Ross Shonhan and Tasca by José Avillez. The combination of aromatic flavours, artfully presented dishes, and the gentle melodies of oud and qanun creates an atmosphere that feels both intimate and connected to tradition, making every evening a quietly special experience.
