The shows take place throughout the holy month of Ramadan
Love a drone show? If you live in (or are visiting) Dubai, then this city knows how to spoil because it constantly sets its sights on the sky. Over Ramadan, you can catch an enchanting drone show at Dubai Festival City.
The performance takes place twice every night, and it’s inspired by the Wulfa season (a celebration of Hag Al Leila, Ramadan, and Eid). The drones will take to the night sky above the waterfront at 7.30pm and 10.30pm.
It’s perfect for the whole family to experience, and of course it’s free to attend. But it is advised to get there as early as possible to secure a good spot.
Thankfully there will be plenty of things to keep you entertained

You can make a night of it at Dubai Festival City and head here before 6pm to see the sun set over the Creek. After this, you can break your fast at the many options of Marsa Boulevard, The Bay by Social, or at Festival City Mall.
At 7pm, you can catch an IMAGINE Show at Festival Bay – a special Ramadan edition. If you miss it, don’t worry, there will be a show every hour after.
Additionally, there will be cultural performances by Qanun, Oud and harp players alongside lantern parades, live Arabic calligraphy art showcases and more.
If you’re dining at The Bay by Social, there will be additional live entertainment plus carnival-style games for the whole family to enjoy.
If you need to shop for a loved one, you can pick up some unique gifts from the vendors at the Ramadan Market. It runs until the end of March.
Additionally, there will be a traditional Ramadan cannon at Dubai Festival City – a long-standing custom that signals the end of the daily fast. You can check out all the locations here.
