Who doesn’t love spotting celebs in the wild, and this week, a number of sporting celebs will be in Dubai
Dubai is gearing up to host the World Sports Summit from December 28 to 30, 2025, bringing together sporting legends, global leaders, and top sports experts. While the summit isn’t open to the public, these stars are sure to step out and explore Dubai—which means you might just spot them.
Here’s a list of sporting celebs you could spot in Dubai this week:

Other sporting stars spotted this December
The recent sporting stars spotted across the UAE were the Formula 1 drivers. The drivers were in town for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2025 – the final race of the F1 calendar early in December this year.
What’s On got an exclusive look at the action with Charles Leclerc and Chivas at J1 Beach. Meanwhile, Carlos Sainz (Williams) and Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) were spotted around Dubai, and in the capital, Esteban Ocon (Haas) as well as Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri (McLaren) made appearances at several events.
And as part of tradition (as of the last four years), the drivers got together for a group dinner to celebrate the end of the season. For their 2025 dinner, the group dined at none other than Zuma Abu Dhabi at The Galleria Al Maryah Island – widely regarded as one of the capital’s finest restaurants. Read more here.
