The weather tomorrow is looking a little chilly…
If you’ve found yourself reaching for a jacket lately (in Dubai, of all places), you’re definitely not alone – and it looks like tomorrow is going to feel even colder.
HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, shared a Dubai weather update via his Instagram stories. A snow-covered image of Dubai was posted with the caption: “how the weather will feel tomorrow,” indicating that cooler conditions are expected. With strong winds and lower temperatures already being felt across the city, the post suggests Dubai is set to experience a very wintery feel tomorrow (January 22, 2026)

The post comes after a few days of powerful winds sweeping across the city from morning through night. On Tuesday, January 21, many residents took to social media saying it was one of the coldest nights they’ve experienced in Dubai in years. The wind chill made temperatures feel much lower.
Now, with Fazza’s latest post, it’s safe to say the cold snap isn’t quite finished yet.
While snow is not on the cards, the mix of cooler winter temperatures and windy conditions means tomorrow is expected to feel particularly cold – especially during the early morning commute and once the sun sets. It’s one of those rare Dubai winter days where the weather genuinely demands layers, scarves and yes, maybe even extra jumpers.
So if you’ve been enjoying outdoor brunches, beach walks or late-night terrace dinners, consider this your cue to pause those plans just for a few days, secure anything loose on your balcony, and prepare for another properly brisk day. When Sheikh Hamdan posts snow, you know Dubai is about to feel it – even if only for a short while.
