It will be the Middle East’s largest Spa & Bath Club, and the region’s only World Spa Resort
Keep postponing your spa appointment because you’ve been too busy? Well, when SACRA opens its doors, you definitely won’t be calling to cancel.
We announced the opening of SACRA in Dubai in May last year, and we’ve now got an update that the wellness space will be opening its doors this March in Jumeirah 1.
Spanning 2,500 square meters, visitors will be introduced to new levels of relaxation, recovery and modern wellbeing, a space where you can slow down, disconnect and genuinely recharge. Much needed for the fast-paced non-stop Dubai lifestyle.
Here’s what you need to know
A highlight of SACRA is its 50-square-metre banya chamber. It’s one of the largest of its kind in the Middle East, powered by a 55-tonne gas heater. What’s a banya chamber? It’s essentially a heated steam room found in traditional Russian banya (a Russian bathhouse). The signature room delivers traditional steam bathing using hot air, water and herbal whisks made from fir, birch and oak. It’s a time-honored technique that supports circulation, releases tension and offers deep, natural rejuvenation. Sounds like a must-try!
The hydrothermal area includes a Turkish hammam, a Finnish sauna, several specialty steam rooms, jacuzzis, ice baths, cold plunge barrels, cryotherapy chamber, pressure chamber, floating area and a salt grotto designed to support respiratory cleansing and skin health.
And of course, you will have a wide selection of spa treatments, massages and personalised bodyworks. The therapists here are all experts committed to long-term wellbeing and individual care.
Looking for privacy? Don’t worry. SACRA offers separate men’s and women’s bath areas. And for even more privacy, there are three different immersive VIP Suites. Think of them as your own little private world. The chalet suite is alpine inspired and will remind you of a luxury ski retreat; the Moroccan Suite is a blend of greens and blues inspired by serene Moroccan gardens, and the USSR Suite is designed with warm red wood, and vintage touches.
Don’t want to leave?
SACRA also offers a restaurant which combines Mediterranean influences, premium steakhouse favourites and comforting Eastern European dishes – all with a wellness touch, of course. So you can easily spend a whole day here.
SACRA has announced its official opening date, but it will be mid of March 2026.
