Expect live entertainment, games, art and plenty of family fun
This April, Al Ain is set to come alive with the return of the DAZ Festival. The popular family-friendly festival is taking place from Friday, April 3, until Sunday, April 12, at Al Jahili Park in Al Ain. That’s 10 days with a schedule packed with food, activities, and community vibes.
What can you expect?
For families looking to enjoy some friendly competition, there are arcade games, foosball, air hockey, pop-a-shot and more. Want something more adrenaline-pumping fun? There are obstacle courses waiting to be taken on, plus a zip line, rock climbing, laser tag, stunt jumps and more. For little ones, there are tamer theme-park-style rides, sandlots to play in and art workshops for those who want to get a little creative.
Foodies will have plenty of reasons to return, with several world-famous spots heading to the capital for the festival. This includes ‘t Pareltje and their freshly cut and double-baked fries from Amsterdam; Japanese-inspired gourmet hot dogs from Hottodoggu; world-famous slices from East Village Pizza all the way from New York City; and more.

Love animals and nature? Daz Festival will be hosting animal encounters where the whole family can meet rabbits, hamsters, turtles, owls and even snakes; ride ponies and more. The animals will be under the knowledgeable care of Al Ain Zoo, which means even your family will be taken care of.
For entertainment on stage, Daz Festival will raise the curtains on a number of performances for the little ones to enjoy. A highlight: Maya the Bee will be live on stage on April 3, 5, 10, and 12. Dotted throughout the venue, you will also spot roaming entertainment from jugglers, mascots, and dancers.
