The third edition of the half-marathon will take runners along a brand new 21km route at the iconic destination
Looking to take on your next running challenge now that the Dubai Marathon and Burj2Burj are done? Then mark your calendars for Sunday 19 April 2026, when runners from across the UAE and beyond will descend on the iconic Expo City Dubai for a high-energy day of endurance, community spirit, and finish-line feels. Whether you’re chasing a PB or simply in it for the vibes, it’s set to be a day full of fitness and fun.
Set against one of the most futuristic backdrops in the country, while the location remains the same, the route for the third edition will be different, although you’ll still get to wind through Expo City’s wide boulevards, striking architecture and Insta-worthy pavilions. Think smooth surfaces, open spaces and plenty of room to get in your stride. It’s flat, fast and designed to keep you motivated from the first kilometre to the final sprint.

Of course, the main race will be the 21km half-marathon, but if you’re not quite ready for the full 21km, no problem – there’s a distance for every level:

Rates
Registrations are officially open, so rally your run club. Entry to the 5km race, suitable for ages six and above, is Dhs158, the 10km race, suitable for ages 10 and above, is Dhs184, and the 15km race, suitable for ages 16 and above, is Dhs210. Those looking to register for the half marathon will pay Dhs236 and you need to be 16 and older. You can register now here.
