See what is and isn’t open again at the beloved Ras Al Khaimah mountain destination

Back in December, Jebel Jais and its myriad attractions were forced to close for essential maintenance after the country experienced significant weather conditions between December 17 and 19, 2025.

But after undergoing rigorous safety checks and all the required maintenance, Jebel Jais is reopening again this weekend. From Saturday, January 31, the UAE’s highest peak will reopen, inviting visitors and residents to discover one of the country’s most popular outdoor destinations.

But take note if you’re planning a RAK road trip, the reopening will be phased.

On January 31, the world’s longest zipline, Jais Flight, will resume operations, as will 1484 by Puro, the UAE’s highest restaurant. You’ll be able to dine from breakfast until dinner between 8am and 8pm.

Thereafter, the Jais Sky Tour, an exhilarating two-hour, five-kilometre zipline tour will follow, reopening on Saturday, February 7. Puro Express at Jais Viewing Deck Park is also set to reopen on February 7, serving guests daily from 11am to 8pm.

Those looking to experience open-air fire dining at Red Rock BBQ will still have to wait a little longer, as a date for the reopening of Red Rock hasn’t yet been given.

To access Jebel Jais, visitors must have a booking for one of the experiences. If you’re just planning to go hiking or cycling independently, you’ll need to purchase a Jais Viewing Deck Park ticket for Dhs10 at the security entrance.
