    Frequently asked questions

    Is the calculator really free?

Yes. There is no cost to download it. We ask for your email so we can send the file and answer any questions about buying property, mortgages or setting up a business in Dubai.

Does it work in Google Sheets?

Yes. Upload the file to Google Drive and open it with Google Sheets, or open it directly in Microsoft Excel.

Are the fees and rates accurate?

The fee percentages and amounts are typical estimates entered as editable assumptions. Banks, developers and the Dubai Land Department set their own current rates, so please confirm every figure before you commit. The calculator is a planning tool and not financial, legal or tax advice.

    Can non-residents use it?

Yes. Every key assumption, including the down payment, interest rate and loan term, can be changed. Lender requirements differ for residents and non-residents, so check your own terms with the bank. Our mortgage guide and calculator explains the main points for overseas buyers.
