If you’ve got travel plans coming up, Etihad Airways has introduced a helpful update that gives passengers a little more flexibility when booking flights
Etihad airline has confirmed that travelers who book tickets from March 6, 2026 can enjoy no change fees on their flights, with the offer running through to March 31, 2027.
What you need to know
Under the updated policy, travellers can make one free date change on their booking without paying a change fee. It’s a simple way to keep plans flexible.
There are still a few standard conditions to keep in mind:
- No-show and refund fees will still apply
- Fare differences may apply depending on your new travel date
- Peak travel periods and surcharges could affect pricing
As always, Etihad recommends checking your flight details before heading to the airport to stay up to date with any changes.

More flexibility across UAE airlines
Etihad isn’t the only airline making travel easier right now. Emirates is also offering added flexibility, allowing passengers to change their travel dates across all cabin classes, with multiple changes permitted under its current waiver.
