If you’re due to travel soon with Emirates, here’s the latest update for travellers

Emirates is currently operating a limited flight schedule from Dubai International Airport (DXB) until further notice and has stated customers with existing bookings are being prioritised on the available flights.

Do not go to the airport unless notified

Travellers are being strongly advised not to go to the airport unless they have been contacted directly by Emirates. Passengers connecting through Dubai will also only be allowed to travel if their onward flight is running, so it’s important to check the status of both legs of your journey before heading to the airport.

More than 100 flights scheduled

On Thursday March 5 and Friday March 6, Emirates expects more than 100 flights to depart from Dubai and return, helping passengers reach their final destinations. Alongside passenger services, these flights will also transport essential cargo such as perishables and pharmaceutical supplies.

What should passengers do?

Emirates says it is closely monitoring the situation and will adjust its flight schedule accordingly. The latest updates will be shared on emirates.com.

  • Review the latest operational updates on the Emirates website
  • Keep an eye on your email for any notifications regarding delays or cancellations

What are your options if your flight is cancelled?

Customers affected by cancellations have some choices:

Rebook your flight

You can move your booking to another flight to your original destination for travel on or before March 20. If you booked through a travel agent, you’ll need to contact them directly. If you booked with Emirates, you can get in touch with the airline to rearrange your trip.

Request a refund

If your booking was scheduled on or before March 10, you can apply for a refund. Customers who booked via a travel agent should contact them directly, while those who booked with Emirates can submit a refund request online.

Passengers are also encouraged to double-check that their contact details are up to date via the Manage Your Booking section to ensure they receive the latest notifications.
