If you’re due to travel this week via Emirates, here’s what you need to know
Emirates has confirmed that all scheduled flights to and from Dubai are currently suspended until 11.59pm (UAE time) on March 4.
While regular services are paused, the airline is operating a limited number of passenger repatriation and cargo flights on March 3 and 4. Travellers who already had bookings are being prioritised on these services. Passengers are strongly advised not to travel to the airport unless they have received direct communication from Emirates.
What should passengers do?
Emirates says it is closely monitoring the situation and will adjust its flight schedule accordingly. The latest updates will be shared on emirates.com.
If you are due to travel, make sure you:
- Check your flight status online before heading to the airport
- Review the latest operational updates on the Emirates website
- Keep an eye on your email for any notifications regarding delays or cancellations
The airline has thanked customers for their patience and understanding, adding that the safety and security of passengers and crew remains its top priority.

What are your options if your flight is cancelled?
Customers affected by cancellations have some choices:
Rebook your flight
You can move your booking to another flight to your original destination for travel on or before March 20. If you booked through a travel agent, you’ll need to contact them directly. If you booked with Emirates, you can get in touch with the airline to rearrange your trip.
Request a refund
If your booking was scheduled on or before March 10, you can apply for a refund. Customers who booked via a travel agent should contact them directly, while those who booked with Emirates can submit a refund request online.
Passengers are also encouraged to double-check that their contact details are up to date via the Manage Your Booking section to ensure they receive the latest notifications.
