If you’re leaving the UAE or travelling with your furry friend, then take note: Emirates SkyCargo has just established a dedicated team that is now in charge of all pet-related bookings.
Available for outbound flights from the UAE, the new pet team within Emirates SkyCargo is on hand to support you through the whole process of arranging your pet’s travel plans.

How to book with Emirates Pets
Emirates has a dedicated four-step process for making pet bookings, outlined in our guide below:
Step 1: Make a tentative booking
Start by securing a space for your pet on your chosen flight. Spots are limited, so it’s advisable to do this with as much advanced notice as possible.
Step 2: Get your quotation
Once your booking is in place, the team will check space availability and calculate the chargeable weight of your pet in its travel container. They’ll send you an approximate quote, and once you accept, the process moves forward.
Step 3: Submit your documents at least 72 hours before departure
This is the most document-heavy stage, so get organised early. You’ll need photos of your pet standing naturally inside its travel crate, a pet passport with rabies vaccination records and microchip number, a rabies blood test report (if applicable), an EU health certificate (for EU-bound travel), a UK annexe (for UK destinations), import permits if required, a valid UAE MOCCAE Veterinary Health Certificate, a signed acknowledgement form, and contact details for whoever is receiving your pet. If you’re travelling on the same flight, include your flight confirmation too.
Step 4: Hand-Over and Payment
Once approved, Emirates Pets will email you a PDF detailing the handover and payment process specific to your departure station.
