The Dubai-based carrier is now operating a reduced flight network to over 100 destinations
Good news for travellers: Emirates has introduced a more flexible flight policy as it resumes services across a reduced global network.
Following the partial reopening of regional airspace, the Dubai-based carrier is currently operating flights to more than 100 destinations worldwide. While the schedule remains limited, it’s a positive step towards reconnecting Dubai with key cities across the globe.
And to keep you moving, Emirates has updated its travel policies to offer greater flexibility.
Complimentary date change for new bookings
Passengers booking flights from April 2 onwards will benefit from one complimentary date change across all cabins. While fare differences may still apply and changes must be within ticket validity, the added flexibility offers peace of mind for those navigating uncertain travel plans.
Flexibility for existing bookings
Customers booked to travel between 28 February and 31 May can rebook onto another flight, either to the same destination or within the same region, up until 15 June. Alternatively, passengers can request a refund if their plans are no longer viable. Refunds are available via Emirates if you booked directly, or via your travel agent if you booked through a third party.

How airline policies are changing
The announcement from Emirates comes alongside a similar update from Etihad. The Abu Dhabi-based carrier is offering no change fees on flights through to March 31, 2027. Under the updated policy, travellers can make one free date change on their booking without paying a change fee.
