On the hunt for something sweet? These top chocolatiers never disappoint
A well-made bar or box of chocolates can speak for itself, whether it is bought as a gift or kept for personal use (we’re usually guilty of the latter, to be honest!). In Dubai, access to top-tier chocolatiers has expanded well beyond the occasional personal indulgence, with international names and local specialists offering a wide range of styles, flavours and price points.
From long-established European brands to home-grown makers, these chocolatiers stand out for elevating the chocolate game. You’ll thank us later.
Läderach
Swiss chocolatier Laderach is best known for its fresh, broken slabs of chocolate, which are cut to order and showcase texture as much as taste. Founded in 1962 and still family-run, the brand has expanded globally while maintaining a strong emphasis on ingredient quality.
In Dubai, Läderach stores combine retail with café seating, making them a place to slow down rather than simply pick up a box and leave. Its assortment includes classic milk and dark varieties, nut-studded slabs and vegan options, appealing to both traditionalists and those looking to try something new.

Le Chocolatier Dubai
Le Chocolatier Dubai focuses on presentation as much as flavour, producing chocolates that are designed to be given as much as eaten. Many items can be personalised, which has made the brand a go-to for occasions such as weddings, corporate events and celebrations (Valentine’s Day, anyone?) that call for a tailored touch.
Using Belgian chocolate as its base, the boutique offers bars, assorted boxes and themed collections, alongside same-day delivery within Dubai for smaller orders.

The brand’s strength lies in its breadth, offering chocolates suited to a wide range of occasions, from formal gifts to family celebrations.
Available through delivery platforms as well as in-store at Dubai Mall, Ghraoui is often chosen for its reliability and traditional approach to flavour. It is less about novelty and more about familiarity, which remains part of its appeal.

Godiva
Godiva remains one of the most recognisable names in chocolate and for good reason. Founded 100 years ago, the Belgian brand has built its reputation on refined flavour profiles and dependable quality, making it a popular choice for formal gifting as well as everyday treats.
Its range spans classic boxed chocolates, seasonal collections and dipped creations, with pricing that allows for both modest gestures and more substantial.

Mirzam
Mirzam takes a more hands-on approach, producing its chocolate entirely in-house at its Dubai factory. Working bean-to-bar, the team roasts, grinds and refines cacao on site, with an emphasis on flavour transparency and origin.
Inspired by the historic Spice Route, Mirzam’s bars often incorporate regional ingredients and unexpected combinations. Alongside bars, the range includes drinking chocolate, truffles and caramels, with vegan options available. For those interested in how chocolate is made, Mirzam’s factory setting adds an extra layer of interest beyond the finished product.
