The UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology has released its five-day forecast, and it’s great news if you’re a fan of cloud cover and scattered showers.
Starting with today’s (Monday, March 9, 2026) outlook, the prevailing conditions for the UAE are: cloudy at times with a chance of rainfall in western and coastal areas.
Those conditions look set to continue throughout the week until at least Friday, March 13, with humidity highs of up to 90 percent along the coast and temperatures in the 16ºC to 34ºC range. Northwesterly to Northeasterly winds are expected to vary between light and moderate, with a freshening edge to the breeze.
Sea conditions are expected to remain mild to moderate.
How does this compare with the yearly averages?
This sort of weather is exactly the sort expected for this time of year, a season which enjoys sunny stretches alongside stronger than baseline winds and patterns of light to heavy rainfall. It’s a changeable month, so dress and pack day bags accordingly.
A cool start for some
Parts of Al Ain were treated to a particularly cold snap over the weekend with a station in Raknah recording a temperature low of just 10.7ºc.
