Careem bikes have been very popular in the last few years
Have you ever needed to get somewhere and used a Careem bike? If so, you’ll know how useful they are to get around the city, especially at peak traffic time in Dubai. Well you’re not the only one to think this as 10 million trips have taken place since its launch in February 2020.
To mark this achievement, RTA and Careem honoured the most active users by awarding complimentary subscriptions to the service and Careem DineOut vouchers. The most active user was also recognised after completing nearly 5,000 trips, reflecting Dubai’s growing culture of active and sustainable mobility.
RTA recently added some brand new routes for you to discover, with 13 new cycling tracks. Whether you cycle in Dubai as part of your daily commute, or love to ride on the weekends as part of your off-duty routine, here’s where you’ll find Dubai’s new cycling routes.
If you fancy a trip on a Careem bike this weekend, there’s a discount for new users and Careem Bike will offer single-trip passes at a price of Dhs9.5 for new users on April 11 and 12 April using the code BIKE10M, compared to the standard fare of Dhs19. This initiative aims to expand access to sustainable mobility options and make them more accessible to everyone.
