Street culture festival BRED Abu Dhabi has been postponed, with organisers confirming refunds and updates on a new date coming soon

BRED Abu Dhabi has been postponed to a later date, organisers have confirmed. The popular street culture festival, which was set to return with a strong 2026 line-up, will no longer go ahead as planned. No new dates have been announced yet.

In a short update shared with ticket holders, organisers said all tickets will be automatically refunded. The amount will be credited through the original ticketing platform used at the time of purchase, so there’s nothing you need to do on your side.

BRED Abu Dhabi first launched as a homegrown festival celebrating street culture in all its forms, from music and fashion to food, sport and art. Set on Yas Island, it quickly built a following for its mix of live performances, regional and international artists, pop-ups from local brands, and a crowd that shows up for the energy as much as the line-up. It leans into youth culture without trying too hard, giving space to emerging creatives while still pulling in big names. Over the past few editions, it has grown into one of the capital’s most recognisable festivals, especially for a younger audience looking for something that feels current and connected to the region.

The festival had already started building buzz this year, with artists like Bryson Tiller and Ayra Starr announced as part of the line-up. Known for its mix of music, fashion, food and art, BRED has become a fixture on Abu Dhabi’s events calendar, drawing crowds to Yas Island for its high-energy, street-led programme. For now, those plans are on hold. There’s no word yet on when BRED Abu Dhabi will return, but organisers say updates will be shared soon.
