Over the past few months, dinosaur fever has taken over Dubai and beyond. From the launch of T-Rex Glamping (temporarily closed at the moment) at Dubai Parks and Resorts to the all-new Dinosaur Park at Dubai Garden Glow, and even the opening of the Natural History Museum in Abu Dhabi, dinosaurs are everywhere.
It’s thrilling for the dinophiles among us – both young and, well… not-so-young. If you’ve already ticked all of those off your list, here’s one that’s fairly new that may have missed your radar.

Dinosaurs: The Immersive Odyssey has opened in Dubai
This new immersive and interactive experience has stomped its way to Dubai Festival City, inviting you to step into the world of dinosaurs.
You will begin at The Museum’s Reserves – a dinosaur museum’s storage space where no visitors are usually allowed. Here, you will uncover details in the shadows but also learn about palaeontology and fossils.
Next, you will time travel with the help of VR and walk among life-sized dinosaurs. While here (and trying not to run away), you go through different phases of the dinosaur timeline and even walk among them. (including stepping over one that’s sleeping) As you wander around, you will learn about their behaviour, the habitats and evolution.

In the next space you will meet life-sized animatronic creatures in their natural habitats. This is the perfect time for that Instagram photo.
In the last stage, you and your little ones can relax and explore creative activities, pretend to be a palaeontologist and uncover dinosaur bones, and even go on a dinosaur ride. Before you leave, don’t forget to pick up a dino-themed gift or souvenir.
The entire visit should take you around an hour, maybe a little longer if you are really having fun and want to explore.
The attraction is open to little ones four and above and kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

For adults, its Dhs99 and for children ages four to 15, it’s Dhs79. At the moment, you can snap up a 25% with the Back to School offer (available for a limited time). Bundle packs are also available.
