One of golf’s most iconic venues is back – and you can watch it all live right here in the UAE for free. Here’s everything you need to know

The PGA Tour is back with a big one this weekend. The 2026 Cadillac Championship marks golf’s return to the Blue Monster course at Trump National Doral in Miami – a venue that hasn’t hosted Tour golf in a decade. It’s one of the most anticipated events of the season, and the good news if you’re based in the UAE is that watching it live couldn’t be simpler.

How to watch it live in the UAE – for free

Fans across the Middle East can stream the Cadillac Championship live through Recastno subscription needed, no long-term commitment — just sign up and you’re watching within seconds.

What time does it start in the UAE?

The UAE is four hours ahead of UK time and eight hours ahead of US Eastern time, so most of the prime TV coverage lands in the late evening and into the night – perfect for settling in after dinner with the golf on.

Play starts on each day:

Thursday, April 30 – round one: play starts from 4:30pm (GST).

Friday, May 1 – round two: play starts from 4:30pm (GST).

With 72 of the world’s best players in the field and no cut – meaning everyone plays all four rounds – there’s plenty of star power to keep an eye on. Here are the names to know:

World No.1 Scottie Scheffler – the overwhelming favourite and the man to beat all season.

World No.4 Cameron Young – paired with Scheffler for the first two rounds; flying high after his Players win.

World No.5 Justin Rose – the veteran Englishman hunting his first win of 2026.

World No.6 Collin Morikawa – a big-hitter perfectly suited to the 7,739-yard Blue Monster.

Top contender Tommy Fleetwood – the popular Englishman and Ryder Cup stalwart in solid form.

Top contender Hideki Matsuyama – the Masters champion with the game to threaten anyone.

Notable absentee: Rory McIlroy is sitting this one out following his historic back-to-back Masters wins. Matt Fitzpatrick is also missing, which only opens the door wider for the rest of the field.

Why should I watch?

Even if golf isn’t usually your thing, the Cadillac Championship has a bit of everything going for it this weekend. The Blue Monster at Trump National Doral is a proper bucket-list course – long, dramatic, ringed with water and with elevated greens that punish anything short. It’s hosted Tour golf since 1962 and the last time a PGA Tour event was played there, Rory McIlroy was in his prime and the course had an iron grip on the best in the world. After a 10-year break, it’s back – and with a $20 million purse on the line, nobody is coming to play it safe.

Good to know:  This is a Signature Event, which means a smaller, elite field of 72 players, no cut, and significantly elevated prize money. Every player finishes all four rounds, which keeps the leaderboard interesting right to the end – no early drama fizzling out midweek.
