Global Village has a reopening date and its VERY soon
Everyone’s favourite attraction, Global Village, is BACK and it has just announced its reopening date, which is sooner than you would think. It’s next week. The attraction has just announced that it’s going to reopen on Monday, April 20 at 5pm. So you can start planning your trip now to one of Dubai’s most popular open air attractions.
This comes after it was announced that schools are also returning to in-person learning from Monday too. Dubai’s much-loved outdoor attraction has confirmed that Season 30 will officially wrap up on May 10, 2026, giving visitors just a month to soak up everything before it closes for the summer. The destination will then return later in the year for Season 31 (dates still to be announced).
Why did it close?
The extended closure is a precautionary measure while conditions across the region are reviewed. Although operations across the city are gradually returning to normal, some outdoor attractions are choosing to remain closed for longer.
This includes Dubai Parks and Resorts and Ain Dubai, who have also confirmed ongoing closures, signalling a wider cautious approach across the city’s outdoor entertainment spaces. There was a rumour circulating a few weeks ago that it was reopening, however unless it comes from official channels, you shouldn’t believe it.
