SoSocial has officially launched in the capital, quietly positioning itself as something bigger than your usual food app. Built in Abu Dhabi and licensed under ADGM, it leans into the idea that going out should feel social again, not transactional. You can join a table, split the bill in seconds and get a bit of money back while you’re at it.
Here’s where it gets interesting. SoSocial is built on a payment system that does more than process your dinner tab. The platform is designed to connect with other loyalty programmes you already use. So if you’re signed up to something like a hotel or coffee rewards app, the tech is ready to recognise that and apply your points automatically once brands come on board.
