Countdown to Dubai’s first women-only beach at Al Mamzar Corniche
If you’ve been waiting for a women-only beach in Dubai, Al Mamzar Corniche is about to deliver. The city’s first dedicated stretch for women is almost finished, and it’s shaping up to be exactly the kind of spot you want for early-evening dips, quiet walks along the sand, or simply some place to relax with privacy. Everything is designed to feel easy, private, and inviting – and yes, night swimming is part of the plan.

The enclosed beach guarantees discretion while keeping safety front and centre. Thoughtful lighting and fencing make night swimming part of the plan, so you can enjoy the water long after the sun dips.

Tracks for walking, jogging, and cycling stretch along the coast. Children’s play areas, fitness zones, shaded seating, and even a covered skate park are all part of the project. Cafés and casual dining spots mean you can hang out from day to night.

Ready for the future
With over 500,000 cubic metres of sand stabilising the shoreline and climate-resistant features in place, the project is designed to withstand the long-term effects of the sea and weather. It’s part of Dubai Municipality’s plan to expand public beaches and make them accessible for all.
When the women-only beach opens
The finishing touches are being applied, and the women-only beach at Al Mamzar Corniche is set to open soon – the city finally has a calm, private, full-featured coastal space just for women.
