Calm, unfussy and a little bit hidden, it is the kind of spot that rewards curiosity. This is homegrown, award-winning pizza that sits comfortably between Neapolitan and New York, landing right where most of us want to be.

The vibe

Relaxed in the best possible way. There is no rush at Pitfire Pizza Abu Dhabi. Just good views, easy conversation and board games like Uno, Scrabble and Jenga waiting to be pulled off the shelf. It feels like a pause button on the city, even though you are very much still in it.

The food and drinks

The sourdough base is the real star. Made with fresh Italian tomatoes and locally produced mozzarella, it has that perfect chew and crisp combo that makes you keep going back for another slice.

The garlic knots arrive baked to order, glossy with garlic butter and begging to be dunked into the gorgonzola ranch. Korean chicken wings bring the sweet, the tang and just enough heat to keep things interesting. The Truff Daddy pizza leans indulgent with black truffle paste, mushrooms, caramelised onions and a swirl of white truffle oil, plus a side of truffle cream for good measure. The buffalo chicken pizza is bold and satisfying, with provolone, gorgonzola, jalapeños and a spicy house-made sauce that means business.
