With an investment of Dhs348 million, there are 35 new parks coming to Dubai in 2026
Dubai is getting greener and we’re very happy about it. It was announced over the weekend that Dubai is getting more green spaces and parks in line with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.
Spanning more than 340,000 square metres and serving 23 residential communities, the new parks mark a major expansion of Dubai’s public green spaces. The aim? To boost community wellbeing, encourage social interaction, and further cement Dubai’s reputation as one of the world’s best cities to live, work and visit.
This latest rollout forms part of the city’s wider Blue and Green Spaces Roadmap 2030, a long-term strategy focused on enhancing Dubai’s parks, beaches and waterfront destinations. Altogether, the roadmap includes projects worth more than Dhs4 billion, with plans to deliver over 120 parks and 200 sports and recreational facilities within the next five years.

Locations have been carefully selected to ensure most residents can access a park within a five-minute walk from their homes. The idea is simple: make green, people-friendly spaces easily accessible, encouraging healthier lifestyles and stronger community connections.
From morning walks and weekend picnics to fitness sessions and family time, Dubai’s growing network of parks is set to play a bigger role in everyday life than ever before. Collectively, the parks will offer more than 60 children’s play areas, 18 football fields, 20 multi-use sports courts, skate areas, running and cycling tracks, open green spaces, shaded seating, picnic areas, water features, and F&B destinations.
By 2040, Dubai Municipality aims to deliver 310 new parks and upgrade more than 220 existing parks, creating an interconnected network of inclusive, community-driven public spaces that residents actively use and engage with.
