Dogs + Dubai festival = perfection
Barkfest is back on the shores of Dubai this weekend and dog owners should be very excited about it. At a time when moments of togetherness feel more meaningful than ever, families and their four-legged companions are invited to enjoy a day by the sea Saturday, April 4 from 1pm to 9pm at Barasti Beach.
At Barkfest, dogs and their humans can enjoy beach access and swimming in the sea, with dedicated off-leash zones for both small and large dogs to play safely. With cabanas, sun loungers, floating platforms in the sea, and a kids’ play area, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
The fun-filled day will kick off at 1pm, with the first 100 dogs through the gates receiving a special gift. The Dog Show will take centre stage from 5pm to 6:30pm. Categories include Happiest Dog, Small & Sassy, Fluffiest Floof, Quickest Sit, Cutest Cross and Best Beach Style. Every participant will receive a rosette, with prizes awarded to the winners.
Adding even more excitement to the afternoon, dogs will be able to enjoy a foam pawty, and there will also be live music during the afternoon. Visitors can browse through an array of stalls at the mini market, where a selection of pet and lifestyle brands will be showcasing their products. Expect to see names such as Puppy Yoga, Perro Dog Collars, Puprazy, Nama, Marvelous Puppy, Buho Boost, Wunderdog, Cosmopets, Paw Haven, Chiku Designs and Puffy Woof.

For those looking to grab a bite to eat, Barasti will be serving its full à la carte menu, plus special promotions, keeping guests refreshed from start to finish.
Barkfest by Feastival is set to be a wag-tastic experience that brings the community together for a day of sun, sea and wagging tails. Tickets are available for purchase from Platinumlist or on the door.
