Marking Mother’s Day in the UAE, leaders across the country took to social media to share heartfelt tributes celebrating the strength, compassion and unwavering role of mothers in shaping families and communities.

The post that Sheikh Mohamed shared in English and Arabic extended his wishes all mothers around the UAE and world, stating, ‘Through their determination and resilience, mothers are a source of lasting strength for our nation and society. Especially in challenging times, we honour their efforts to instill the values of loyalty and duty across generations.’
The UAE President added, ‘Today, we also commemorate the mothers of our fallen heroes, who gave their lives in service of our beloved nation. Their sacrifices have contributed to the stability and advancement of the UAE, and we will forever remain inspired by their courage.’
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai also shared a heartfelt message via X.

His message wished all mothers well, adding that ‘mothers are a source of confidence, a school for generations and a maker of values.’
He added his sincere ‘appreciation and gratitude to the mothers of the martyrs, the mothers of the heroes in the arenas of sacrific, and the mothers of the men and women who make a difference every day in our homelands.’
He ended his message with, ‘May God protect the Emirates, and may God protect the mothers in every corner of the Emirates’ corners.’

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE also sent a message via social media.

In his message, Sheikh Hamdan echoed the message sent by the Dubai Ruler stating, ‘Mothers are the first school for their children, the place where children learn belonging, responsibility and the values that shape strong nations.’
He added, to mark Mother’s Day, we have directed the Community Development Authority to adopt the title “Generation Shaper” instead of “housewife”, in recognition of a role that no words or titles can truly capture.’
He ended his message thanking our mothers saying, ‘To all our mothers… Thank you. You are the foundation of everything good. Happy Mother’s Day.’
