The extended suspension comes as airlines across the region continue to adjust schedules due to airspace disruptions
Saudia has announced that it has extended the suspension of flights to and from eight destinations due to ongoing airspace closures and regional developments.
On its official website, Saudia confirmed that flights to and from Amman, Kuwait, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Bahrain, Moscow, and Peshawar have been cancelled. The cancellations are in place until 3.59am on Saturday, March 7 (23.59 GMT on March 6).
The airline has announced that the Emergency Coordination Centre continues to monitor the situation around the clock in coordination with relevant authorities to ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew.
Passengers are advised not to proceed to the airport until they have been contacted directly by Saudia, and to always check flight status. It urged passengers to follow only official Saudia social media channels and information from the website for the latest news and real-time travel updates.
Those with affected bookings can opt for a free date change at no extra charge (subject to seat availability) within 14 days of Saudia resuming services on the affected routes.

Passengers connecting through Jeddah or Riyadh whose onward flights are currently unavailable can continue their journey once services resume, or be rebooked on an alternative Saudia route or to the nearest available airport.
For cancellations, passengers can request a refund with no cancellation fee.

Other flight updates
Flynas announced on Wednesday, March 4, that due to the continued airspace closures, flights to and from the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, and Syria will be suspended until 3pm on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Flyadeal also confirmed the suspension of its flights to and from Amman, Dubai, and Damascus. These cancellations are applicable until 11.59pm on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
