Parkonic rolls out a 24/7 paid parking system at one of Dubai’s most iconic waterfront spots
If Palm Jumeirah Crescent is on your regular rotation – beach days, evening walks or late dinners – there’s a new update you’ll want to clock. Paid parking at Palm Jumeirah Crescent is now live, with a ticketless system that runs all day, every day. No barriers, no machines, just your number plate and a smoother way to park.
What’s changed at Palm Jumeirah Crescent
Following the rollout of paid on-street parking in Discovery Gardens, Parkonic has now introduced the system at Palm Jumeirah Crescent. The new setup came into effect on February 1, and applies 24 hours a day, seven days a week including weekends and public holidays. There are no free parking windows, so it’s always chargeable.
How much does parking cost?
Parking at Palm Jumeirah Crescent is charged at Dhs10 per hour, or part thereof. The rate applies across the board to all vehicles, including those registered under People of Determination (POD). Charges are clearly displayed on signage throughout the area, so there are no surprises.

No tickets, no machines, no barriers
This is a fully ticketless paid parking zone. Your vehicle’s licence plate acts as the parking record, meaning there are no physical tickets, parking metres or entry gates. It’s designed to keep traffic moving and parking simple, especially in a high-traffic waterfront area.
How to pay for parking
Drivers can pay via SMS, using the instructions shown on-site to start a parking session. If SMS payment doesn’t go through, the fee will automatically be deducted from your Salik account after you exit, in line with Salik’s terms. There’s no option to pay with cash, parking machines or QR codes here.
A quick heads-up before you park
Salik is the default payment method unless an SMS session is activated. Vehicles without a Salik account – or with low balance – must use SMS, and telecom charges may apply. Failure to pay could lead to fines or further action, so it’s worth double-checking before you walk away.
