Sponsored: An evening of music, art and immersive spectacle saw Ploom and Zenon come together once more for an unforgettable night
Since arriving in Dubai, premium lifestyle brand Ploom has become synonymous with immersive experiences and high-octane cultural moments. On January 29, that story continued as Ploom transformed Zenon into a luminous playground of sound, art and storytelling with Ploom in the event: Apollo, Born of Light — a contemporary reinterpretation of the Greek god of the sun, arts and design.
Blurring the lines between mythology and modern creativity, the one-night-only experience was the latest must-see, multi-sensory showcase from the brand. Zenon was completely reimagined as a futuristic homage to Apollo, where Ploom’s striking branding evolved into an art-led narrative powered by AI visuals, photography and music.

So, let’s revisit the evening.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with their first drinks — and an unexpected surprise. Attendees were granted an exclusive preview of Desert and Rose, a bespoke artwork inspired by Ploom and created by Nour Yasin, a Dubai-based contemporary artist renowned for his distinctive wall sculptures. Known for continually exploring diverse materials and techniques, Yasin’s piece set the artistic tone for the night.
From there, the myth of Apollo was retold through a design-forward lens, celebrating innovation, creativity and illumination.
The highlight of the evening saw DJ, pianist and singer Lola Bozzano deliver a high-octane hybrid performance. Blending live piano, vocals and electronic beats, her immersive showcase captivated the crowd and elevated the energy in the room. Originally from Spain, Lola has lit up stages at global events including Mad Cool Festival, Sun and Snow Festival, Offsonar Festival, Pacha Ibiza, and more — bringing that same electric presence to Zenon.

Adding a theatrical twist, static statue dancers surprised guests by coming to life during Lola’s set, moving in sync with the music and transforming the space into a living performance.
To close out the night, music producer and frequent Ploom collaborator Khardiac kept the momentum going with an electrifying DJ set that carried the energy well into the evening.

As part of Ploom’s The Gallery experience, photographer Erkin Demir captured guests in his signature style. The portraits were displayed on illuminated totems at the centre of the venue, turning Zenon into a living gallery and placing the audience at the heart of the art itself.
