Did you notice the change?
Noticed that your phone network name changed to UAE&Kuwait and wondering why?
Well, it’s to celebrate the longstanding friendship, cultural harmony, and shared values between the UAE and Kuwait.
And it doesn’t just end at renaming the network provider. Throughout the week, the UAE will be celebrating across different destinations with live shows, nighttime displays and more.
At Global Village in Dubai, celebrations run from Thursday, January 29, to Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

If you love drone shows, head to the family-friendly destination on Saturday, January 31 where, from 9pm, you can catch a special drone show choreographed in honour of UAE–Kuwait Relations Week. A dazzling firework display will follow.
*Global Village is adding extra fireworks and drone shows*
In Abu Dhabi, you can catch a special marine procession taking place across Abu Dhabi’s waters, with 20 decorated sailing boats carrying the UAE and Kuwait flags along the city’s coastline.
In the capital as well, you can see a nightly drone show along Yas Bay Waterfront. Also on the agenda are live music and cultural showcases. Want to see fireworks, too? Head to Abu Dhabi Corniche and Yas Bay on January 31, 2026.
At the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba, there will be cultural showcases, folk performances, live music and a dedicated drone show celebrating the long-standing UAE-Kuwait relationship.
