The newly launched large-scale development designed to bring everything gold-related under one roof.
A shiny new attraction
The street will be built inside the Dubai Gold District and is expected to become a major draw. While full design details are still under wraps, the street will be developed in phases, with more information on its look and features to be revealed over time.
Once complete, it’s tipped to be a new landmark in one of Dubai’s most historic trading areas.
Why gold is such a big deal in Dubai
The city is often referred to as the “City of Gold”, thanks to its long-standing role in the global gold trade and the famous Souk.
In recent years, the UAE has ranked as the world’s second-largest physical gold trading destination, exporting tens of billions of dollars’ annually to markets including the UK, Switzerland, India, Hong Kong and Turkey. And the new district is designed to build on that reputation.
