Inside the revamped Mediterranean hotspot: A review of Nammos Dubai

The iconic beach club Nammos Dubai is back and better than ever

As you walk into Nammos Dubai the greeting is not only warm, but entirely unexpected – it’s Habibi. But this Habibi is no ordinary Habibi. At Nammos, Habibi is a striking blue parrot who welcomes guests right at the entrance like an extended part of the hosting team. (And he scores extra points being oh-so cute.)

But the truly best part of Habibi’s welcome is, with the help of his trainer, Habibi will gently take his place on your arm, allowing you to snap a few photos with the ultimate maitre d’.

From there, you step inside and immediately understand what Nammos has done with its reopening: the space feels like its own little island, its own world, doing its own thing. And you’ll instantly feel the spirit of Mykonos and those memorable European holidays.

The space

Set within the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, the newly reopened Nammos delivers an immediate wow factor. Cream-toned finishes, natural materials and open sea views set the tone. Every detail feels well-executed, from the beach club through to the dining area. Chic yet laid-back, it’s the kind of setting that calls for linen clothing and designer sunglasses.

The vibe

Nammos, inspired by the spirit of Mykonos, has mastered the balance between chilled and lively, with its signature Mediterranean spirit. It’s a “what you make it” kind of spot – spend the day at the beach club with light bites and cocktails, head to the restaurant for lunch or dinner, or do both if you’re looking for a day-to-evening hangout. During dining, a live band moves between tables, adding energy to the space.

The food

The menu stays firmly within its Mediterranean lane, featuring a mix of refined signature dishes and Greek classics. Returning favourites – such as salmon teriyaki, spicy crab tartar, aubergine mille-feuille and risotto saganaki – are back, with new creations also joining the lineup like salmon carpaccio, stuffed calamari, baked saganaki cheese, homemade pasta, and more. Seafood leads the way, supported by salads, sushi, and grilled dishes perfect for sharing. Premium wines, signature cocktails and indulgent desserts add the finishing touch.

What’s on the bill

Expect to spend around Dhs1,700 to Dhs2,100 for two or three if you’re going for the full line-up of appetisers, mains, desserts, and drinks.

What’s on verdict

Reopenings always come with lofty, inflated expectations, but Nammos nails it. Of course, things get off to a good start with Habibi on the front door, but the food, the drinks, the music, the setting means Nammos is back in the game as a city favourite. Go now.
