Prepare to be absolutely Ghibli-fied
After a Studio Ghibli trend took over social media last year, fans are in for another treat as The World of Studio Ghibli arrives in Abu Dhabi.
You can explore The World of Studio Ghibli from May 30, 2026 at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Saadiyat Cultural District. Here, Studio Ghibli’s iconic films come to life through immersive sets, handcrafted artwork, and unforgettable storytelling.
Spirited Away – Studio Ghibli
You will be able to explore scenes from beloved films, and we don’t just mean sitting back and watching it on a big screen. You will fully immerse yourself in no less than 16 sets. This includes waiting in the rain with Totoro from My Neighbor Totoro, entering Howl’s moving castle from Howl’s Moving Castle, hopping aboard the sea railway from Spirited Away and more. All large-scale sets, making the experience pretty iconic.
Besides this, fans can even explore the artistry a bit deeper with the exhibition’s exclusive audio trail, and unlock hidden production insights and behind-the-scenes stories.
And yes, of course, you’ll have photo-worthy opportunities at every turn.

Howls Moving Castle – Studio Ghibli
The World of Studio Ghibli will run from May 30 to August 20, 2026 at Manarat Al Saadiyat. The exhibition will be closed on Mondays, so keep this in mind when you’re planning your visit.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, you can enjoy the attraction from 1pm to 7pm, and from Thursday to Sunday, from 10am to 8pm.

It’s open to all ages, but those under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18. Kids under three can enter for free. It’s Dhs125 per adult, and Dhs75 per child. Take note, prams are not allowed but the venue is wheelchair accessible.
