British rock band Muse postpones Abu Dhabi concert amid unforeseen tour disruptions

Muse’s highly anticipated Abu Dhabi concert has been postponed. The British rock band’s upcoming show at Etihad Arena has been postponed due to what organisers described as “unforeseen circumstances”. The announcement was shared by Live Nation on social media.

The post confirmed that Muse’s scheduled performances in India and South Africa have also been cancelled. In a message to fans, the band said the decision was a difficult one and not taken lightly. They apologised for the disappointment and thanked fans for their understanding.

Live Nation said refunds will be automatically processed for all ticket holders, using the original method of payment.

The concert was set to be a major moment for Abu Dhabi’s live music calendar. Muse were due to return to the capital for one night only at Etihad Arena, with fans eagerly anticipating a full-scale production and a hit-heavy setlist. Songs like Supermassive Black Hole, Uprising, Starlight and Madness were expected to feature, alongside the band’s trademark visuals and arena-sized sound.

Muse last played in Abu Dhabi in 2024 as part of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix after-race concert series. Their show at Etihad Park was a high-energy spectacle, packed with fire, confetti and crowd-pleasing anthems. It was the kind of night that reminded fans why Muse remain such a powerful live act.

For now, there is no new date confirmed for the postponed Abu Dhabi concert. Fans are advised to keep an eye on official Live Nation channels for further updates.
