Yas Super Street Challenge that returns to Yas Marina Circuit with drag racing, food trucks and full throttle weekend vibes
If your idea of a good weekend includes the smell of burning rubber, engines screaming at full tilt and the kind of tension you can feel in your chest, Yas Marina Circuit has plans for you.
The Yas Super Street Challenge is back for 2026 and Round 1 kicks off this weekend, bringing Abu Dhabi’s homegrown drag racing scene roaring back to life. This is where everyday drivers with seriously fast machines line up on a proper drag strip and go head to head in a straight line sprint. They do this for bragging rights, trophies and that coveted title, King of the Street.
This is not polished Formula One glamour. It is raw, loud and thrilling in the best possible way.

The opening round of the four race season sees drivers competing across seven championship categories for cars and bikes. These are the region’s top drag racers, and they do not come to cruise.
The event village runs all weekend and turns the circuit into a proper race day hangout. There will be food trucks, music and plenty happening off the track while cars and bikes thunder down it. General admission tickets give you access to the grandstand and the village, which is more than enough to feel the rush. If you want to see the action up close and soak in the paddock vibes, the VIP upgrade is worth considering.
At its heart, the Yas Super Street Challenge is about giving racers a safe, professional space to push their limits and test their machines properly, not on public roads, but on one of the region’s most iconic circuits.
