New malls in Dubai? Here’s the list
Dubai already has some of the best malls in the world, and a few new openings coming in 2026? We’re definitely not complaining. Good news for shopaholics and anyone who just wants coffee, food, a weekend stroll, or a place to hang out. The best malls in Dubai aren’t just for shopping. They’re where the city eats, meets friends, catches a movie, runs errands, and sometimes even skis. Here’s a look at the new malls in Dubai coming in 2026.

Set within one of Dubai’s most lived-in districts, this upcoming mall is designed for daily drop-ins rather than day-long missions. Expect boutique shops, a supermarket, gym, play courts and plenty of casual dining – all built around family-friendly lifestyle zones.
Liwan Mall

Liwan Mall brings Spanish-inspired design, café-lined streets and open dining spaces. It’s made for the neighbourhood crowd but also perfect for a weekend stop.
Villa Square
Retail meets wellness here. Villa Square blends open-air shopping with curated eateries, wellbeing spaces and even a rooftop pool. It’s a calm alternative to the usual big indoor malls and a strong pick for families and fitness fans.
South Bay Mall

Overlooking lagoon views in Dubai South, this three-level mall is planned as a lifestyle hub. Alongside 60 retail outlets, there’ll be a premium food hall, gym, spa and clinic – all connected by open-air walkways.
Dubai Square Mall

Still in the design phase, but already one of the most talked-about projects. Dubai Square is planned as an indoor city at Dubai Creek Harbour, with walkable zones, tech-driven retail and large-scale entertainment. Opening is expected in 2026.
Ghaf Woods Mall
Part of a forest-led community along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, this future mall is built around greenery, wellbeing and outdoor living. Think retail and leisure set among thousands of trees, far from the usual enclosed feel.
Dubai Mall & Mall of the Emirates upgrades
Not new malls, but big changes are coming. Dubai Mall is adding hundreds of luxury stores, while Mall of the Emirates is expanding its dining, entertainment and social spaces, with a stronger focus on outdoor areas.
