Escape to nature and visit the UAE’s brilliantly green and serene spots
Agriculture and the United Arab Emirates might not typically go hand-in-hand, but these spots are defying the status quo. Pick flowers, milk a cow, or even take a tractor ride through the fields at these local gems.
Emirates Bio Farm, Al Ain

The farm has created a complete visitor experience, which includes a farm shop, outside dining and seating area, experience centre, greenhouse restaurant as well as an Arabian tent overlooking the farm and open desert dunes. During visiting hours, you can walk the fields, feed friendly goats, or pick up seasonal fruits and veggies. Rumailah Farms, Fujairah
Conceived in 2017, Rumailah Farm in Fujairah is the UAE’s first Jersey cow milk farm, and its herd of over 400 Jersey cattle are naturally grazed and milked locally to produce the freshest and creamiest dairy produce. To experience what life on the farm is like, you’ll want to book a farm tour, available from Tuesday to Sunday between 8am and 2pm. You’ll get to explore the cutting-edge facilities, find out more about production, milking and sample some homemade ice-cream.
