According to Careem…
This city loves its burgers, and the numbers prove it.
According to stats released by Careem, over six million burgers were delivered in 2025. That works out to 4,400 burgers a day.
As for drinks, the love for matcha surged this year, with orders increasing by 120% compared to 2024 – that’s a lot of matcha!
Breakfast also claimed the title of most popular cuisine in 2025. We’re curious if the numbers have predominantly come from the weekend.

What about talabat?
If you thought the number of burgers ordered on Careem was staggering – talabat claims that over 47 million burgers were ordered via their app. However, these numbers come from across the UAE.
The second most popular item is claimed by the humble mini cheese pizza, with over 1.3 million orders on talabat UAE.
For drinks, the title as per talabat goes to the iced Americano. However, following a close second, is everyone’s favourite matcha lattes.
But we can’t end there without shining a spotlight on the humble laban, which saw over 620,000 orders on talabat mart.
