Get ready to hit the road and see the city in a whole new light
Pack up the snacks, cue the road-trip playlist and clear your calendar: Dubai is officially going RV-ready. Dubai Municipality has just announced the launch of the region’s first integrated recreational vehicle (RV) route – and it’s set to change the way we explore the emirate’s great outdoors.
Dubai might already be a firm favourite on the global tourism map for glitzy five-star hotels and sleek city stays. But with the region’s first RV route, it’s also set to open up a new style of tourism for the city.
Think of it as a one-stop, perfectly mapped adventure network for life on the open road. The new initiative will roll out a connected system of dedicated RV stations, serviced parks and scenic road-trip routes, making it easier than ever to cruise from coast across the city’s vast and varied landscape.
Rather than a single campsite, this is a full-scale outdoor experience. Beachside mornings, desert sunsets and mountain escapes will all be linked through a unified RV network, designed to blend adventure, nature and culture with comfort and accessibility. Whether you’re a seasoned road-tripper or a curious first-timer, this is outdoor living with a Dubai-level upgrade.

Dubai Municipality will handle the heavy lifting on infrastructure and regulations, while opening the door for private developers and operators to build and run RV parks across the city. Translation? More choice, more experiences and more reasons to get outside. It also means new investment opportunities and a growing RV tourism scene that puts Dubai firmly on the regional map.
Designed as year-round, family-friendly destinations, the RV parks will go beyond parking spots. Expect hospitality offerings, dining options, wellness facilities and recreational spaces suitable for all ages and abilities. There are even plans for incentives, subsidies and reduced land costs to attract developers, plus flexible financing options to support RV ownership and rentals.
The takeaway? Dubai’s road trips are about to get a serious glow-up. Adventure awaits: just add wheels.
